Professional Ecology Services for the South and South-West of England Eclipse Ecology Ltd have offices in Dorset and Somerset. We offer a range of ecology services across the South and South-West of England. Our core area includes Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Somerset, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire although we are able to travel further if required.

All services are conducted to standards set by Natural England and the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) at a scale appropriate for your development, and the habitats and species involved.

We hold 9 Protected Species Survey Licences and are able to cater for a range of ecology services to help your project run on time and budget.

Specifically, we hold Natural England Survey Licences for Bats, Great Crested Newts, Dormouse, Barn Owl, White-Clawed Crayfish, Smooth Snake and Sand Lizard. We also hold Natural Resources Wales Licences for Bats and Dormice.

We resolve ecology issues for a range of projects, from house extensions, to urban expansions, renewable energy schemes, schools and hotels. Our clients include Housing Developers, Architects, Planning Consultants, Private Home / Land Owners, Environmental Consultancies and Nature Conservation Organisations.
